CORA Article Generator - Admin Configuration

CORA allows saving generated articles as Confluence pages and even link them to the source issue.
Enabling this functionality requires some admin configuration at the app’s admin page.

Saving Your Articles in Confluence

  1. Click on Apps and select Manage Your Apps.

  2. Open the CORA Articles Admin page.

  3. Click on the bluebutton labeled "Grant Access" and allow CORA to access your Confluence.

After allowing the OAuth access, refresh the page.
Once access is granted, the button will turn yellow and lable will be "Re-Grant Access".

Linking generated pages to Jira issue

  1. In the app’s Admin page, find the section that says “Confluence Link”.
    This section allows submitting your site’s Confluence AppId which is required for enabling auto-linking of generated article to the Issue.

  2. You can find the AppId by clicking the “here” option or manually resting

    https://<your-jira-instance>.atlassian.net/rest/applinks/3.0/applinks

    The page will display a JSON array of application links.​
    Look for the entry where the name is System Confluence and find its id.

  3. Paste the id value in the input and click the check icon to update it in the app’s configuration.

After successfully setting the value, it will be displayed:

Defining Space for Project

  1. In the app’s Admin page, find the section that says “Configuration”.

  2. For each JSM Project, choose the relevant Confluence Space where the generated articles will be saved.
